NOTICE OF ANNUAL ELECTION
BEDFORD VILLAGE FIRE DISTRICT

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Annual Election of the Bedford Village Fire District will take place on December 12, 2023, between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M. at the firehouse located at 550 Old Post Road Bedford Village, New York for the following purposes:

To elect one (1) Fire District Commissioner for a five (5) year term commencing January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2028; and

To elect one (1) Fire District Commissioner for the four (4) year balance of an unexpired term commencing January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2027.

All residents of the Bedford Village Fire District, who are duly registered to vote with the
Westchester County Board of Elections on or before November 20, 2023 shall be entitled to vote at this election.

Any person desiring to have his or her name appear on the ballot for one of the above offices must have filed a petition signed, specifying the office by term expiration date for which the name should appear, by at least twenty-five (25) qualified electors of the Fire District, with the Secretary of the Fire District not later than November 22, 2023.

DISTRITO DE BOMBEROS ALDEA DE BEDFORD

TENGA EN CUENTA que la elección anual del distrito de bomberos de Bedford Village se llevará a cabo el 12 de diciembre de 2023, entre las 6:00 p. m. y 9:00 p.m. en la estación de bomberos ubicada en 550 Old Post Road, Bedford Village, Nueva York, para los siguientes fines:

Elegir un (1) Comisionado del Distrito de Bomberos por un período de cinco (5) años que comenzará el 1 de enero de 2024 y finalizará el 31 de diciembre de 2028; y

Elegir un (1) Comisionado del Distrito de Bomberos para el saldo de cuatro (4) años de un mandato no vencido que comienza el 1 de enero de 2024 y finaliza el 31 de diciembre de 2027.

Todos los residentes del Distrito de Bomberos de Bedford Village, que estén debidamente registrados para votar con el
La Junta Electoral del Condado de Westchester el 20 de noviembre de 2023 o antes tendrá derecho a votar en esta elección.

Cualquier persona que desee que su nombre aparezca en la boleta para uno de los cargos anteriores debe haber presentado una petición firmada, especificando el cargo por fecha de vencimiento del mandato para el cual debe aparecer el nombre, por al menos veinticinco (25) personas calificadas, electores del Distrito de Bomberos, ante el Secretario del Distrito de Bomberos a más tardar el 22 de noviembre de 2023.
